Dear Together for Resilient Youth Members, Partners and Friends,

What a tumultuous time. In the past several weeks but indeed for far too many years the scenario has repeated. Incident after incident with emotions finally overflowing after witnessing the graphic murders of Mr. George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery and reading about the murder of Breonna Taylor. Sadly, these precious lives are only representative of the maltreatment of Black people throughout the years. 

We are witnessing a traumatized culture that now envelops the nation. Racially motivated assaults, violence and death perpetrated against Black people are the tip of the iceberg. The underlying policies bolstering institutional racism have become untenable.

We (TRY)
We believe in the resilience of humanity. 
We believe that good will win in the end. 
We believe that equality will be embraced. 

TRY has experienced the best of humanity through our interactions with each other. TRY represents the unity that we would like to see in the world.
